Top of My List

It looks like 2019 will be a year of travel for me. I have 2 milestone birthdays to celebrate, plus ski trips, and finally a long awaited family trip to Hawaii (I’m so excited). So the major things on my list this year are in service of travel.

··        Plane ticket to Scotland for my Sister’s Birthday

·         Plane ticket to Greece for Marin’s Birthday

·         Contributions to the Travel Fund

o   $150 – Special Event Dinner (2 needed)

o   $75 – One night at an Airbnb, Hostel, or Bed and Breakfast (10-15 needed)

o   Other expenses:

§  Local Travel (Greek ferries in particular are rather expensive, and hopefully Claytie and I will be traipsing all over Scotland, so I expect multiple busses and trains will be involved)

§  Meals

§  Museums and Touristy Things

Save the World With Reusable Gifts

·         Candice-made travel lunch bag kit like Jim’s – I covet his so much I want one of my own!

·         This nut-milk bag for straining nut milks

·         Reusable un-paper towels

·         Wax fabric replacement for saran wrap like this

Help Me Make Music

·         Ukulele Stand like this

·         Microphone for making decent music recordings – something I can plug into my computer and use with Garage Band. It would be helpful if I could use it hands free.

A Few Kitchen Items

·         Non-stick frying pan to replace ruined ones. I really like these.

·         Small baking sheet – for toast, or a single sweet potato. This one is good

·         Silicone baking mats

·         New Pyrex 2 cup measuring cup. Someone broke the lip off my current one.

·         A small spatula for getting to the bottom of small jars, and a flat spatula for flipping pancakes

·         A gray Slap J Medium. I’m so surprised nobody slapped me last year! I’m sure there are several of you who want to give me a Slap of any color.

·         A queen silk pillowcase like this in light blue, 2 would be even better

·         Dangly earrings, long sterling silver chains, and sterling silver rings (size 9)

·         Art made by you! Especially tree art for my tree wall.
